Another good day today.
Had a wonderfully delish dinner. Chicken breast with prosciutto topped with thyme and capers and slices of lemon baked in the oven. Yum!! Side dish of cauliflower and brocolli topped with lemon zest, bread crumbs and egg. Also yum. Bread crumbs are carbs i know but I have not had any today so all is ok.
Im averaging between 1200 to 1500 calories a day and Im seeing the weight slowly coming off but Im starting to want to cheat. I wanted to so badly this afternoon that I got a little depressed. Then I stopped and thought that it is just one year and that this time next year I will be in Queensland on the Gold Coast sitting in the sun and relaxing and I walked out of the kitchen. Yeah me!!
Tomorrow is Saturday so I am able to have my junk meal tomorrow. I have heard that once a week you should up the calories and then the following day lower the calories and only eat protein to jump start the new week, otherwise you body goes into 'famine' starvation mode and it sort of shuts down the using of fat for energy.
Dont know what Ill have as my 'junk' meal tomorrow. May go out for din dins....or maybe not since I got a 750 dollar electricity bill today!! Where to get the money for that one!?!
Anyway, that was off topic. Might try the Souffle omelette with mushrooms tomorrow for breaky?? I wonder if Kylie is up for a gym session in the morning??
