Day 2 and 3 - January 3rd 2012

It is still stinking hot.  They said 35 today but it feels hotter than yesterday which was 40 degrees again!!

I had a fantastic day yesterday. Barry my husband and I took Jayden to the movies to see the new Chipmonk movie and they sat and ate popcorn and drank fizzy drinks while I sat and sipped on water. We had lunch at the shops also just before. They had Hungry Jacks while I got a salad from Subway and then proceeded to eat it in Hungry Jacks so I could sit with my family!! Felt weird to do that but I wasn't told off so it must have been ok.  I felt so good afterwards knowing I can do this and I didn't even feel like I went without.

Last night I sat down and organised my weeks meals to cook and this afternoon when it is a bit cooler I'll go do the grocery shopping.  Im looking forward to the weeks meals actually.  I picked one of my many cookbooks which I hadn't even looked in before and just picked out a heap of different ones.  I then worked out which days to have them on so it would be interesting.

Today has been going well. My normal shake for breaky and I had a hard boiled egg for morning tea.  I'll have a shake and a high protein pancake for lunch and then do the grocery shopping this afternoon so I can have a propper meal tonight.

In the two and a half days I have been doing this, I have already lost one and a half kilos!! I know though that the first week you lose a lot of fluid but I dont care.  One and a half kilos!!!! And I no longer feel bloated.

This year is looking good!!
